Facilitation for Quality Projects
Our newest class is a 3-day class for Quality Projects & Initiatives (QPI). It is intended for project leaders, sponsors, and frequent team members.

This class is designed specifically for a variety of quality environments ranging from Six Sigma® to TQIM to CMM to Lean, and is appropriate for all levels of quality leadership (Green, Black, and Master Black Belts, e.g.).

Do any of these apply to you or your project managers?

Want better group performance
Daunted by "problem people"
Uncomfortable in front of a group
Desire to be a good example
Want a quality team experience

Course description

The class develops essential skills to get the most out of groups. Discussion and decisions about Peer Reviews, FMEA, DPMO, MSA, measurement design, improvement plans, and many other quality initiatives require the input, discussion, and decisions by workgroups.

This class will help move project managers, quality managers, and team leaders to the next level in dealing with difficult to manage quality initiatives with teams and in workgroup settings.

This class is also useful for employees and contractors that are regular participants in your quality initiative workshops.

This course does not provide instruction in Lean, Six Sigma®, CMM, PRI, TQIM, or other specific quality tools or methods, but in how the tools are applied in a group setting.

Working with a group is rife with the challenges of distractions, poor planning, conflicts, disruptive personalities, wide differences in expertise, executive intervention, vague team charters, and complex tools. These challenges can derail your best intentions. So, what do you do to overcome these challenges in a workgroup?

Working with groups is challenging, particularly to keep their (and your) energy high, while accomplishing the good work that your quality assignment is intended to do. This class is essential if your performance depends on their ability to manage workgroups to generate results.
